PRODUCED AN ADVERSE EFFECT ON RED BLOOD CELLS. GROSS
HISTOPATHOLOGIC ALTERATIONS WERE SEEN IN THE SPLEEN, LUNG AND
KIDNEY. IN AN ACUTE DERMAL ANIMAL STUDY, 200 MG/KG CAUSED MILD
HEMATOLOGIC EFFECTS. MEKO DID NOT PRODUCE A MUTA GENIC RESPONSE IN
SEVERAL IN-VTRO AND IN-VIVO MUTAGENICITY SCREENS.
